An interesting shot of a 35mm original slide of an unknown blonde from a set sent over by Paul from Firebird. Interesting because not only is she a stunner sat there almost nude in the wicker chair, but also because she seems to have posed for Harrison Marks as well, or at least appeared in one of his films. If you look at this post of an advert of The Naked World of Harrison Marks and look at the page with the line of topless models I’m convince she is the second one from the back, but with darker hair?
Blonde or brunette she looks fabulous and obviously did the circuit of studio’s and photographers as so many others did, but who is she? I’ve added her to the growing list of unknown models as unknown Model No.71 🙂
The shapely rear view, bottom and curves of Della Fox highlighted by the contrasting spots and shapes of the glass door and wallpaper in front of her. Superb peachy bottom with all it’s highlights and shadows enhancing it’s appeal, delicious view 🙂
After identifying this model as Anita St. John I’m finding her pop up in my collection all over the place!
This fabulous shot of her is by Leslie Bainbridge from an original 10 by 8 print sent over by John and shows her posing precariously on a very broken gate! As with all Bainbridge shots Anita is smooth down below and actually shows off more down there than in any other shot I’ve seen of her, again showing how good Bainbridge was at getting models to relax and show off everything.
Superb shot and hope she didn’t get any splinters in unwanted places from that gate 🙂
A stunning vintage beauty from the Carnival Annual P22 (1956) and shot by West End Photo’s, but model and photographer unknown. I just love the classic 1950’s hairstyle combined with the red lipstick, fishnet stockings and low cut bra giving us just a hint of nipple. A classic vintage glamour or cheesecake beauty, although I think the red lipstick has been ever so slightly enhanced in this shot.
The term cheesecake seems to have derived from a genre of glamour photography and poster art made popular in wartime pin-ups of the 1940’s, often featuring modest poses by movie starlets displaying lots of leg but little explicit nudity. So called because of the resemblance of a stocking-clad female thigh to the layers of a cheesecake dessert. I think this shot fits that genre perfectly.
Incidentally, this was the first ever magazine I physically purchased and scanned 🙂
Back off holiday a week now and already missing the warm sun, but a great shot to keep me going, although I don’t quite remember seeing views like this down in the South of France on my visit!
A restored 10 by 8 print from the collection of John that I borrowed and scanned of an unknown blonde beauty posing perched against a boat by Leslie Bainbridge. I have around 10 prints of this model, but no name to go with them. She appeared in several editions of H&E by Bainbridge all showing off her naked body, small perky tits and perfectly smooth mound. A great shot from Bainbridge capturing the model and her body perfectly, although she could have smiled more in this shot 🙂
