Alison Wills – Mayfair Vol.16 No.11 (Nov 1981)

I published the cover of Mayfair Vol.16 No.11 featuring Alison before, but promised to post the rest of the article featuring much more of her, so here it is! And as you can see, she reveals much more than on the cover, but not as much as in some of her other adventures 🙂

Alison Wills – Mayfair Cover (November 1981)

Alison Wills on the cover of Mayfair Vol.16 No.11 (Nov 1981). I will always have an affinity to Mayfair, as it was one of my first introductions into glamour/men’s magazines as a young adult. This cover along with a few others was one of my favourites and always manages to get a reaction! There’s nothing particularly risque about the cover, other than maybe the way Alison is posing, but it does it for me!

The shots of Alison within the magazine are equally as good and reveal far more of what’s beneath that white leotard than the cover, but sometimes less is more and makes the mind work 🙂 Incidentally Alison’s very young almost school girl like look helped her progress her career as a model in the 1980’s. She went on to appear in several other magazine’s and did a lot more explicit stuff in magazines with titles like Sweet Little 16 and so on, which I don’t think I need to explain further!

I have other very vivid memories of Mayfair including a young Linda Lusardi and a severe crush on Rosemary England, or least some very nice bits of her. All of which have probably helped drive and develop my tastes as I got older, but I always seem to revert back to my Mayfair days!

June Palmer – Another Alluring Alley View (Original)

The second and final shot of June posing in an alleyway dressed in a leotard, but wearing it well and showing a bit of cleavage and a hint of nipple through the material. As discussed in the other post here, I wondered about the location of this shot and if it were near to Strobe Studio’s? Thanks to several members including ‘Gypsy Re Bethe’ the location has been confirmed as an Army parade ground at the back of Strobe Studio’s in St John’s Hill. Re knew June for many many years and knows the location very well and helped identify the location of this shot, plus helped me with other locations in other shots.

Unfortunately, the last shot from this set that I have, although I have seen others of lower quality of June from this set and similar posing on the back of a car.

June Palmer – An Alluring Alleyway View! (Original)

I’ve just received another CD full of original June images from John W from a couple of 35mm films he’s purchased and the disc contains several interesting sets of a young June. There are additional images of June in leggings on the castle battlements, some of which I’ve already posted, a set of June dressed in the park and this shot! There are two shots from this set of June in the Alleyway, this one and one other, which is a shame as they are fantastic shots.

I love the pose from June in the leotard as she leans against the alley wall, with a buxom bosom showing, but I’m also sadly intrigued by the location and where this was taken. I wonder if it was taken near Strobe studio’s in Clapham and as you look back up through the alley you see a woman walking past what I think is a sign for Midland Bank?

Leopardskin Leotard & A Step Ladder (Original)

The third shot of June posing in the studio with a step-ladder in a leotard sent through by John! and the second shot of June in a very fetching leopard skin leotard/swimsuit and I suppose it’s really a swimsuit, but it fits in with the step-ladder set. Other June and Step Ladder shots are posted here
