An uncensored view of Jennifer Garland by Harrison Marks posing in the studio under an open sun umbrella, isn’t that bad luck? I’ve left the scan uncropped and in it’s original medium format version as it works much better that way I think. A beautiful view of Jennifer’s body and smile, along with a bit of stubble down below 🙂
Another unknown model that I have several sets of, including the two shots above. I have no idea who she is, but again she looks familiar to me, but the name escapes me! The sets look to be late 1960’s and I’d guess taken at Scotlee Studio’s, as I’ve seen that bath in the top shot in a couple of June Palmer sets also taken at Scotlee. But who is she, anyone got any ideas?
Update: Thanks to ilfordianuk I now recognise her as Jo Peters, 1960’s and 70’s model that appeared in Spick & Span and later as a ‘Page 3’ girl in the Sun newspaper.
The vivacious Virginia Green on the cover of QT No.29 by Russell Gay. A rather good shot of Virginia with a very well placed bow on the umbrella handle! Gay tended to be more colourful and garish with his magazine covers than Harrison Marks, with much more going on in them and the accompanying centrefolds. The centrefold from this edition also features Virginia posing on a western set in a cowgirl outfit, which I posted back in 2013 here.
Well let’s hope the sun arrives soon, as could do with a few more views like this! An unknown model posing with a colourful umbrella from a restored 1950’s Kodachrome colour slide. Fabulous colours and clarity from such an old slide.
