Virginia Green from the cover of Amber No.3 by Russell Gay. A great cover with Virginia showing off a very fruity pair of … grapes!
A restored 10 by 8 print of Virginia Green showing off her big dangly ones, by which I mean earrings 🙂 Taken in the late 1950’s Virginia looks stunning in black stockings, suspenders and corset as she shows off her earrings and her other fine assets! Obviously a companion print to this shot of her also wearing the same earrings, but on the bed and not wearing as much!
Thanks to Kevin for both shots of Virginia from his ample archive!
What to say about this wonderful shot of Virginia Green sent over by Girlymag and restored from an original silver gelatin photo! Simply stunning hips and those curves of her body as she kneels there look fabulous. I’m not sure about having a lit cigarette so close to that plastic as she kneels there, but I’ll forgive her on the health and safety issue at work on this occasion and who wouldn’t with her looking like that!
The vivacious Virginia Green on the cover of QT No.29 by Russell Gay. A rather good shot of Virginia with a very well placed bow on the umbrella handle! Gay tended to be more colourful and garish with his magazine covers than Harrison Marks, with much more going on in them and the accompanying centrefolds. The centrefold from this edition also features Virginia posing on a western set in a cowgirl outfit, which I posted back in 2013 here.
